Connecting Your Booking.com Property to Sympl
To successfully connect your Booking.com property to Sympl there are two key steps you need to follow. This guide will walk you through the process of permissioning Sympl as your Channel Manager in the Booking.com Extranet and completing the connection in Sympl.
There are two key steps to successfully connecting your Booking.com property to Sympl:
Step 1: Permission Sympl/Tokeet as your Channel Manager in the Booking.com Extranet
Step 2: Add the propertyID in Sympl and complete the connection by linking it to an Sympl rental, importing bookings, pushing availability and pushing rates. These steps are described in detail below.

as Your Channel Manager in Booking.com Extranet
Log into Booking.com Extranet
Visit: https://admin.booking.com and log in with your Booking.com credentials.Select Your Property
After logging in, click on the property you want to connect.Access the Connectivity Provider Settings

Note: If you don't see this option, contact your Booking.com account manager to request "commercial approval" and ensure the Channel Manager sign-up tool is enabled.Search for Tokeet

In the Search for providers field, type Tokeet.

Select Tokeet from the search results.
Click Connect to proceed. This will establish a full, two-way connection with Tokeet/Sympl, meaning that Sympll will handle availability, rates, and reservation synchronization.

Booking.com will send Sympl an email confirming your request to connect. Sympl will then complete the connection by providing a Provider Confirmation in Booking.com.

You will then receive a confirmation message in your Booking.com Extranet once the connection is active.
Your connection to Sympl will now be active.

This requires choosing the Sympl Rate category and Booking.com Rate category that you want synced.

Important Considerations:
Property Availability: Your property will be temporarily closed/unbookable on Booking.com until the connection process is completed in Sympl.
Connection Process: Your connection will not function properly unless the steps in Sympl (linking the rental, importing bookings, pushing rates and availability) are fully completed. Please see above for a detailed description.
Updates via Sympl: Once the connection is established, all updates to rates, availability, and restrictions must be sent to Booking.com exclusively through Sympl. Manual entries in the Booking.com Extranet will no longer be possible.
Viewing Rates and Availability: While rates and availability will no longer be updated directly through Booking.com, they will remain visible in the Extranet for monitoring purposes.
Reservations and Modifications: Any reservations, modifications, and cancellations will be re-transmitted through the Sympl dashboard. However, it's important for vacation rental managers to regularly check the Booking.com Extranet to track the status of each booking.
